The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Electrical Distributions System Engineer (EDS/Harnesses/Wiring Looms) and build management.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Responsible for the design, development and delivery of EDS, including prototype build support and plant launch. Take lead in the technical resolution of EDS circuit and package issues, complex bill of materials, build support and supplier management. Take ownership of EDS issues (AIMS) and drive for resolution. Be able to understand technical specifications and requirements, review and sign off commodity compliance and maintain company records and retention database (Efdvs / RMDV) Organised and able to influence, represent and present status of commodity at senior reviews, support launch start-up and wash-up meetings. Work to tight deadlines in a high demanding area. Previous work within a multidiscipline Engineering team. Technical problem resolution. A knowledge of System validation processes. Degree in an Engineering or related discipline preferred.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Self starter able to sustain a high, multitask workload. Combine Engineering with business skills. Good communication skills and leadership, with the capability to read and understand circuit diagrams, visualise 3D designs, understand and apply design standards with a good understanding of harness package/design and installation requirements. Ability to work within a team or on your own. Must be computer literate, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and easily adapt to company specific systems (previous knowledge in WERS, AIMS, Efdvs/RMDV, ECR¿s would be a benefit but not essential as training can be provided). Automotive Engineering design, development and delivery.
