The Company:
My client is one of the largest utility providers in the UK.

The Role:
Leading a small team, you’ll be the design authority for a range of electrical schemes, and you’ll personally manage approvals on key processes, from people to tools and safety bulletins. You’ll develop asset and system replacement strategies, undertake incident investigation and HAZOP analysis, provide professional advice to other departments (including the development of technical specifications and work scope) and liaise with external agencies to identify and implement best practice across the business.

A Chartered Electrical Engineer, preferably qualified to degree level, you’ll be a strong leader, with the ability to set a vision for UK Gas Transmission, and to communicate compellingly at all levels. Naturally, you’ll demonstrate a wide range of skills and experience including drafting electrical procedures and/or rules and guidance for systems, and improving policy, maintenance, asset replacement, specifications, construction and/or commissioning. You’ll have extensive knowledge of electrical plant and systems, including large rotating machines, and experience of relevant regulations and legislation.
