The Company:
Our client based in Renfrew, provides a range of specialist, underwater operating and engineering services in the defence sector worldwide.

The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Technician to join a leading on an initial contract basis (3 months+) with the opportunity to go staff. This is an ideal role for a suitable qualified electrical technician looking to further develop their career with an award winning company.

Responsibilities:
·Experience of panel manufacturing would be an asset
·Control and instrumentation instillations
·Interpretation of drawings and documentation
·Fault finding and report writing
·Test equipment under supervision of engineering manager and recording equipment data
·Supervise staff in line with company standards
·Ensuring that, tools and equipment are maintained in a clean, complete and safe condition

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
·Qualified Apprenticeship
·Experience within similar role – time served electrical technician
·Experience working unsupervised
·Be able to provide a copy of trade certificate
·Willing to work away from home for extended periods
·Previous experience of working within one of the following – marine, commercial, subsea, defence and oil and gas
·Experience of working with Medium and LV supply networks
·Experience with working on DC power distribution systems
·Experience of working on controls and automation systems
·Experience of working on navigation and communication systems
