The Role:
Role Outline

• Execute Site testing/maintenance/modification work, interact with sites services manager and factory based office staff. Deliver high level of customer service.

Main Accountabilities

• Site/Service Delivery – Performs site/service tasks, identifies problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in any site/service categories :-
1. LV Switchboard “dead” testing
2. Maintenance
3. Repairs
4. Upgrades
5. Retrofits
6. Replacements

• Customer Approach – Contributes to customer satisfaction by executing site/service work according to customer order and expectation. Creates and maintains a good
relationship with customers and understands their needs.

• Materials and supply – Coordinates, prepares and ensures that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for site/service activities.

• Documentation and reports – Prepares all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Reports work done in a timely manner and follows up when

• Troubleshooting - Proactively identifies potential equipment failures and requests proactive corrective actions.

• Continuous Improvement – Proactively identifies suggestions for product and quality improvement and communicates them further in the Organisation.

• Health and Safety – Applies safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Reports unsafe practices and incidents.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience


• Time Served Electrical engineer with testing experience
• Previous site/service work experience
• Willingness to travel to sites in UK, Overseas and offshore
• Willingness to work weekends and some unsociable hours
• Willingness to be part of the 24//7 call out rota.
• Current full UK Driving licence
• Good keyboard skills and working knowledge of Standard Applications
• Punctual time keeping


• Experience of Low Voltage Switchgear
• Health & Safety Training – IOSH, JIB, CCNSG, CCS Card holder
