The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The Electrified Propulsion Project Leader will be responsible for an array of vehicle programs with Hybrid content. Specific tasks will include, but not exclusive to; Cross manage the components teams across CoC to drive the projects in full Quality, Cost, Time, Weight, Attributes, Features & Risks. Secure Gateways deliverables on time and at right quality level. Monitor projects progress through dashboards. Lead the convergence of the technical Hybrid system architecture of each project. Responsible for management of investment and material costs via PPFeas, REDBOOK and PAS sheet process"

3 Key Skills:
1) Project management, Strong Leadership skills
2) Product Design & Development Engineering
3) System Engineering (several core competences optimization)

Experience Required: "Experience of being successful in managing complex technical issues, balance conflicting needs of the business and within project timing constraints essential. Good interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability and experience in interacting and communicating effectively at all levels within the organisation essential. Good communication, interpersonal skills, self-confidence and a 'passion for the product' are personal qualities needed to succeed in this high pressure environment, being self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision essential. User of Microsoft Office packages including MSProject essential"

Experience Preferred: "Experience of TCDS, PCDS, RMDV2, AIMS, and i3 Experience of Programme Central (i-PLM) desirable. Knowledge of Hybrid Powertrain systems desirable. Knowledge of Electrical systems desirable. Knowledge of software delivery control plans desirable. Knowledge of target setting process desirable. Knowledge of FMA desirable"

Additional Information : Full UK driving license essential 1 day per week at Whitley
