The Role:
The jobholder will support the Electronic / Electrical engineering group achieve their objectives within a quality critical and high reliability engineering environment. You will be responsible for analysing and evaluating conceptual designs to ensure all elements of the final design & product are achievable while also meeting client specifications

The jobholder will be required to support projects, meet key milestones, objectives and timescales in order to bring final delivered product to customer on time, on budget and with all required functionality. You will be required to utilise DFM (Design for Manufacture) and DFT (Design for Test) methodologies to ensure the product meets all specifications of the finalised design & client specifications. You will also be expected to perform fault location, investigative analysis and implement continuous improvement actions to systems, assemblies, processes and quality procedures.

The jobholder will ensure that work is performed within agreed budget constraints and timescales while ensuring engineering solutions are provided to rectify or escalate any issue in a timely manner. You will be responsible for ensuring technical conformance to specifications while ensuring all work is documented and performed in accordance with company procedures & documentation.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Experience in evaluating the design of high reliability electronic, electrical, hydraulic and optoelectronic systems against client specifications while providing solutions to engineering challenges in all stages of a project from conceptual stage through to FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing).
•Experience in supporting projects, meeting key milestones, objectives and timescales while ensuring internal/external stakeholders obtain services that are “right first time” and of an overall expected quality level.
