My client supplies gas and electricity to UK residential and business customers, provides central heating and gas appliance installation and maintenance and low-carbon and energy efficient products and services.

The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a experienced Email Campaign Manager to join a fast paced Email Marketing team leading email campaigns.

Working within the Digital business team you will work across many areas to deliver successful campaigns covering many areas – aquaistion, retention, transactional growth, operational comms, newsletters and many more. We are the leading energy supplier within the UK and as such the way we communicate with our customers and new prospects is critical to our success, with the customer being central to everything we do.

The role includes owning the campaign from start to finish – briefing stage, design creation, stakeholder management, planning the distribution & execution of the email. As a key member of the team you have a great opportunity to shape the success of email within the company. The email team is part of a wider Digital business team responsible for all aspects of online marketing activity and self serve growth for the company.

• Manage the planning, scheduling and execution of email programs; including one-off, transactional, lifecycle emails, drip campaigns within agreed timelines
• Manage execution of email campaigns end-to-end, from creative assets and audience segmentation/targeting, creative setup, testing/QA and deployment via our ESP
• Working with stakeholders to plan the campaign projects, timescales and budgets - weekly, monthly and yearly planning
• Execute on A/B and multivariate test strategies to increase engagement across retention marketing channels
• Create and update email reporting dashboards and custom reports analyzing campaign performance in order to provide actionable recommendations and deliver continuous improvements to our email program
• Champion continuous advancement of our email features and capabilities including targeting, personalization, template development in collaboration with multiple stakeholders: development teams, designers, business teams and more
• Demonstrate subject matter expertise on Company’s email templates, email channel best practice, process and principles, and channel capabilities

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Proven in-depth knowledge of email campaign management within a media, agency or internet based environment
• Ability to manage and co-ordinate multiple campaigns whilst continuing to deliver on time and to budget
• Excellent knowledge of email best practices, methodologies, techniques, tools and passionate about delivering a high quality product Strong knowledge of HTML
• Strong written and verbal communication and problem solving skills with an impeccable eye for detail • Strong understanding of how to effectively engage and convert email subscribers through template design and email copy
• Experience working with an Email Service Provider (ESP)
• You're adept at planning as well as executing different forms of email testing, with great attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture
• Management of cross-functional teams to deliver all aspects of the campaign, demonstrating a positive, can-do attitude
