The Company:
A luxury Automotive OEM based in the West Midlands. After continued growth & success there are a number of new exciting engineering projects underway and we currently have requirements for experiences engineering professionals.

The Role:
To lead component and vehicle level EMC requirements, test planning and execution. Play a key role in the development of company EMC design, standards and procedures. Support Antenna development and sign-off with Antenna Engineers.
Manage EMC technical requirements and Test ensuring suppliers of components meet the Corporate and legal standards.
 Manage whole vehicle EMC Test and Component level EMC test.
 Support Rootcause analysis and engineering solutions related to EMC/RFI.
 Develop Company EMC design, standards and procedures.
 Manage Budget, facilities and Engineering tools.
 Lead component level test plans.
 Classify systems and agree acceptance criteria.
 Support Antenna development and ensure Onboard emissions.
 Manage component level EMC test plans.
 Manage Whole vehicle EMC testing to Corporate and legal standards.
 Support Supplier meetings with EMC technical requirements
 Support Root Cause analysis/investigation of RFI issues
 Work with Antenna engineers on RFI requirements.
 Produce EMC test reports.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering Degree or Equivalent Qualification (EMC, Telecommunication, Antenna).
 Extensive experience in Automotive Electronics related design or test work.
 Extensive experience and development of EMC requirements.
 Working knowledge of Relevant EMC Homologation Regulations and approvals.
 Able to manage EMC test plans.
 Sound knowledge of Automotive EMC design Principles.
 Previous experience with EMC testing and facilities.
 Conversant with Spectrum Analyser and Waveform generation tools.
 Experience of using EMC receivers.
 Be able to monitor Vehicle data bus using networking tools (CANalyser/CANoe).
 Use and adapt vehicle diagnostic tool.
 In Depth knowledge of FMEA/FTA Hazard analysis.
 Technically acute in EMC analysis and counter measures.
