The Company:
Large oil & gas company (our client) is urgently looking for EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE ADVISOR – BLACK SEA – WEST SIBERIA

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE ELIGIBILITY TO WORK IN RF

The Role:
OVERALL SERVICES NEEDED
• Support the HSE Manager and EPR / OSR Team Lead in providing EPR services for the Black Sea and Western Siberia Projects
• Develop EP&R Plan for each of the Black Sea and Western Siberia Projects. This includes:
- Test the EP&R Plan, plan and execute drills, document lessons learned, conduct / coordinate workshops / training regarding EP&R, and review activities and learnings with Operator management on a periodic basis
- Ensure OIMS 10-B expectations are met in all Black Sea and Western Siberia Projects EPR Plans
- Interface with Contractors (Drilling and Seismic) as needed to provide oversight to their EPR Plans, and ensure Plans are aligned
• Steward action items to EPR / OSR Team Lead
• Participate in risk assessments for Health (Medical Emergency Response Plans), OSRP, and EPR as needed; steward EPR follow up items and results for learnings and gap closure

OTHER SERVICES NEEDED
• Support and / or participate in investigations and follow-up of incidents. Provide root cause analysis expertise to support these efforts and review reports.
• May be assigned other services by the JV SHE Team.
• Develop / deliver technical presentations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• University degree and / or technical diploma / certification, Professional Engineer (PE), National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH)) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated work experience in both onshore and offshore exploration projects (including some prior oil & gas experience).
• Broad technical knowledge and HSE skills with working knowledge of Onshore Arctic and Deepwater Emergency Response Programs
• Ability and desire to function in an integrated project team environment. Ability to develop successful working relationships with emphasis on effective communications in an integrated team environment.
• Maintains a high degree of ethical conduct.
• Must be able to effectively communicate / influence multiple levels, from Senior Level Manager to Worker.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Ability to work in harsh environments (examples include temperature and / or humidity extremes, remote locations with limited amenities) with changing priorities.
• Willingness to travel / live away from home for extended time periods.
• Proficient in use of computers and programs such as Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.
• Read, write, and speak fluent English and Russian, as required to function effectively within the JV Team.
• May have location-specific fitness for duty requirements (examples include standing for extended time periods, climbing, bending, walking, reaching).
• No training will be provided (other than JV specific safety standards and procedures).
