The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide.

The Role:
As an Energy Consultant you will be involved in working with clients to identify and deliver energy and utility improvement projects. You will be required to have knowledge in most of the following areas:

Familiar with concepts of primary and delivered energy
Good working knowledge of utility systems and the principles of operation.
Good knowledge of different boiler types and implications of key variables on efficiency.
Aware of principles of combined heat and power and able to articulate the three basic systems and their inherent characteristics.
Aware of basic causes of process inefficiency and how to identify which is dominant in any particular application.
Familiar with basic statistical processes for collection, handling and processing of energy and production data including the strengths and weaknesses of the different methods.
Engagements with client at tactical level and predominantly at operator, maintenance technician, site supervisor level.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
You will hold a minimum of a Bachelors degree, ideally a chartered engineer and have good written and spoken English skills

A minimum of 5 years experience in one of the pharmaceutical, chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas , power, pulp and paper or Metals & Minerals Sectors

We are looking for candidates with a degree in an engineering or scientific discipline and preferably chartered with an appropriate Institution, or working towards chartership. All candidates must be fluent in English and able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing. You will also be IT literate.
