Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role

To engineer cost effective, reliable electrical system solutions that meet the requirements of the Energy management System, providing them with an electrical platform on which they can carry out their calibration activities. To take System responsiblity for the concept to production and meet all project performance targets and timing milestones. To take component ownership for all electrical parts within the system as ECU's sensors and actuators.

Scope of the Role

- Responsible for developing and maintaining technical knowledge/capability within the field of egine electronics/electrics, gearbox electrionics, transmission differential control electronics and engine auxillary system controls.

- Responsible for meeting all Business requirement for their components in terms of function, performance, legislation reliability, safety etc. for one or more of the systems listed above.

- Responsible for executing the product development lifecycle process in accordance with the Product Emergence Process principles.

- Responsible for planning and expediting a test and validation programme appropriate to the component/system and which will achieve the requirements of 'Engineering Sign-Off'.

- Provide support for all vehicle prototype and production build phases in terms of parts provision, technical know-how, fault-finding, problem resolution and vehicle sign-off.

- Responsiblefor achieving all Project KPI's and providing a regular status of their parts against these.

- Responsible for the management of the system/component suppliers. Required to facilitate regular Project Reviews with suppliers and the core team personnel.
