We have an immediate requirement for an Engineering Specialist to join Advanced Process Solutions Division within Process & Control Systems Department based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Process & Control Systems Department/Advanced Process Solutions Division. The Advanced Process Solutions Division provides engineering expertise in developing and managing process modeling & optimization solutions, advanced process control applications, and plant computing tools to support Oil, Gas & NGL processes, refinery production and distribution of refined products.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• MS degree in Chemical Engineering with 7 to 10 years of experience with Process Modeling & Optimization as part of the candidate’s day to day work, and detailed knowledge of one or more Process Simulation software. • Should have extensive knowledge (5 to 10 years) of either the Oil & Gas/NGL Processes and/or Refinery Processes. • Should be able to develop simulation models and work with the plant to validate and commission models for regular use, maintain and support models, as well as perform studies. It is a plus if knowledgeable in developing plant-wide models and integrating with LP Planning models

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be expected to analyze P&IDs, reconcile data, develop and validate process models in HYSYS and/or PRO/II and/or AspenPlus. The ability to develop Reactor Models using AspenTech Technology and/or integrated models in RefSYS will be an advantage. In support of the Company’s strategy to integrate engineering and business applications, knowledge of Process Optimization technology, LP planning techniques, and integration with SAP System would be an advantage. The successful candidate will represent the Company and publish his work at internationally recognized conferences.
