The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Development and delivery of ADAs (Active Cruise Control , Active Lane Assist , etc.) system performance to meet the required project attributes. Responsible for the specification , test and validation plan to achieve the cost , weight ,timing and quality targets for the project.Acheive engineering signoff for systems and components in area of responsibility.


1) Support and Lead Design Development
- Take the lead in Design and development of technology in area of responsibility
- Advanced ability to capture and specify the design requirements in area of responsibility
- Lead the Engineering test and validation planning and sign off for systems and components in area of responsibility
- Lead Engineering release and change management process

2) Delivery of projects
- Responsible for planning and managing project related activities on a throughout a complete project development.
- Reporting of project status for area of responsibility in cross functional and project teams
- Advanced understanding of cross functional working with other areas of the business
- Lead an initiative working with suppliers for progressing project deliverables
- Basic financial awareness of their role in the organisation
- Knowledge of cost of parts and systems with an understanding of value engineering

3) Problem Solving
- Ability to solve Highly complex Engineering and design related problems
- Analysis and management of multiple design related issues to identify the root cause
- Collect data , manage data and analyse data to produce reports as appropriate and progress design guidelines

4) Developing and maintaining Specialist Knowledge
- Responsible for keeping the functional area up-to-date with technology in area of responsibility
- Capture learning from previous experience
- Work with group partners to influence group partners to keep up to date with the latest group developments

5) Ability to work within a team
- Able to work effectively in a cross functional team
- Lead contribution in delivering team objectives

- Responsible for Validation test and sign off of systems and components in area of responsibility

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

- Higher Engineering Degree or equivalent
- Evidence of formal performance driving training from a reputable provider or OEM

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience of Project and Supplier Management in an Automotive environment
- Ability to communicate at various levels across the company in different forums
- Software Calibration and application knowledge/experience.
- Ability to influence colleagues within your area of responsibility
- Understanding of financial limits within area of responsibility
- Ability to influence colleagues within your area of responsibility
- Understanding of financial limits within area of responsibility
- Ability to solve problems
- Previous experience of developing and delivering ADAS is desirable but not mandatory


- Demonstrate experience of project and Supplier Management
- Competent in Chassis system software application tools (Canape) and Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of Product Emergence Process (PEP)
- Flexibility for significant travel ( mainly European) is required as part of this role
