The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Turbocharger Boost and Air Path Control Calibration Engineer

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of complex diesel charge air control systems
Knowledge of turbocharger boost governor calibration Airpath, compressor and exhaust manifold modelling experience
Excellent working knowledge of powertrain application tools (INCA, CRETA, Matlab, Concerto)
In-depth knowledge of diesel powertrain EMS control strategies
Understanding of the whole powertrain system interfaces (Cooling, exhausts)
Self motivated and driven personality with a focus on delivery
Good communication skills and professionalism. Excellent analytical skills
Minimum two years relevant experience within diesel automotive sector or powertrain research environment (OEM, Tier 1 supplier or Consultancy).
Extensive calibration experience on test bed and in vehicle with an air path control bias.
Degree Qualified preferred (Mechanical Engineering or comparable

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
In-vehicle calibration experience. Team leadership/mentoring experience desirable.
