The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Key Responsibilities & Tasks: -

* Arrange and manage work plans for NVH tests
* Conduct minor modifications of parts and fit them on cars
* Arrange meetings, take and issue minutes/actions
* Prep of cars & rigs for test - ensure vehicle/rig fit for purpose
* Instrument for measurements
* Calibrate & set up measurement positions, and document set up of data acquisition system
* Assisting testing (driving) and data capture
* Preparing test components - simple modification and fitting tasks
* Job card submissions & liaising with workshops
* Health & safety & risk assessments
* Control of department fuel key card & DAN books
* Care & control of instrumentation & kit - including specification & ordering
* Assist in transfer of cars/parts etc.
* Assist in managing store space

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Has a proven track record to be able to work as part of a bigger team be able to multitask work in a high pressure environment, requiring high levels of drive and initiative
* Full UK clean driving license Knowledge of vehicle components and systems essential
* Excellent communication skills and work wells with others
* Computer literate & able to use Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / Powerpoint etc.)
* Driven, self motivated, enthusiastic, tenacious - keen to learn & contribute
* Undergraduate degree/Diploma in Engineering/Automotive/Acoustics

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Particular knowledge and experience of powertrain systems preferable
* Previous experience of NVH would be an advantage (in any of the following areas - engine, intakes, exhaust)
* Engineering degree preferred
