The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
To support the product creation processes through the systematic dismantling, interrogation and review of our client and competitor products to capture learning and best practices which can be shared with current and future programme teams. This will be done through: -
* The systematic teardown, analysis and data recording of vehicles/products.
* Formal involvement of Engineering and Project Team specialists to maximise the learning and to influence all functions in the development of processes and methodologies being employed across the breadth of future products.

We are looking for highly motivated inquisitive individuals with a flair for asking 'how' and 'why' during the dis-assembly of vehicles/products.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Ability to systematically dismantle vehicles/products.
* Ability to complete the teardown database with written and photographic records and identify/record points of interest for further analysis.
* Able to support detailed analysis of teardown vehicles via multi-functional group meetings.
* Able to support the development of conclusions and recommendations from teardown studies with appropriate specialists.
* Able to support presentation of results and findings to all levels.
* Ability to apply workshop best-practice within requirements of Health & Safety regulations.
* Good communicator and presenter to all functions and at all levels.
* Good analytical skills with capability of lateral application of identified learning.
* Ability to establish and maintain sound working relationships.
* Candidate must be flexible due to changing nature of the activity within teardown at any given time.
* Fully computer literate including MS Office.
* Formal Engineering qualifi

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Possess database, desktop publishing and web publishing skills, with ability to generate written and photographic support media.
* Logistics/parts handling experience may be of benefit
* Ideally Degree educated.
