The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Responsible for Driver Assistance for all vehicle variants.

Reports to Functional Manager – EE/CS Electrical Safety.

- Technical responsibility for the Driver assistance, including documentation, release, testing and sign-off to meet the requirements of the company Electrical department.
- Delivery of Driver assistance to meet functional targets and meet all project requirements.
- Has experience of the management of suppliers to meet project deliverables to achieve quality approval Note 1 status.
- Liaise with the companies group colleagues to share knowledge.
- Keep up to date with new legal and legislative requirements.
- Keep up to date with new technical developments in Driver assistance.
- Has successfully worked cross functionally to with other departments to reach a common goal
- Provide support to other non engineering functions within the company for Driver assistance.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Meets the requirements of the Company behavioural framework.
Flexible team player, who is able to liaise at all levels within the organization.
Electronics background.
Ability to implement the use of the “V” model for DAS.
Knowledge and hands-on experience of vehicle communications/architecture network (FlexRay, CAN & LIN) and (ideally) diagnostic tools (VAS/IDEX/ODIS).
Conversant with company systems and processes is highly desired but not essential.
Can work independently to complete validation tasks both on vehicle and labcar showing good problem solving skills.
Dynamic and proactive self-starter able to work independently.
Co-ordination and organisation skills.
Good communication skills, written and verbal.
German language knowledge is advantageous.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Electrical Engineering Degree or proven extensive automotive experience
