The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The position is for a Durability & Reliability PAT (attribute) leader who has the responsibility for the management and delivery of the Durability & Reliability attribute.
This includes :-
-Setting, agreeing & cascading of the D&R requirements & targets into Chassis, Body, Powertrain & Electrical
-Design verification planning in a virtual & physical vehicle environment to ensure project Gateway objectives are achieved
-Management of all DV activities including report out to project team of D&R test & attribute status
-Management of test results and escalation of issues into the CoC's including supporting root cause analysis and fault resolution activities
-Attribute report out in support of project milestones & Vehicle sign off

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Good knowledge of Automotive Technologies and vehicle testing including the principles of Verification and Validation.
General understanding Automotive Vehicle systems and a practical knowledge of motor vehicles.
Excellent project management capability
Ability to manage a cross functional meeting in support of the PAT (test planning, problem root cause analysis and resolution).
Excellent communication & presentation skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Practical experience within the Vehicle Engineering function with good knowledge of whole vehicle testing at a driven and rig level Experience in Vehicle Program delivery with a Vehicle Engineering perspective Project management with demonstrable delivery examples Good knowledge of Automotive Technologies , whole vehicle testing methodology and experience at a virtual, rig and vehicle level.
