The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Ensure alignment between Electrical department and programmes teams, other engineering departments and, other functions - service, manufacturing, etc.
Ensure targets cascaded from the programme to Electrical department are appropriate to required content and achievable - cost, investment, weight. Ensure facilities/vehicles are available / allocated to allow completion of requested testing work
Co-ordinate bill of material validation exercises
Clarify requirements to succeed through clear interpretation of deliverables to engineers
Support prototype builds, representing the department and helping in the resolution of issues
Co-ordination and tracking of engineering releases

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems (desirable although other engineering disciplines also considered)
Ability to lead the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment
Able to demonstrate good project management experience and a track record of successful project delivery.
