The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
To develop, design and project manage releasing activities of all power supply ancillary components - heatshields / busbars / vent tubes
To manage eFDVS/RMDVV deliverables to ensure Gateway timings are met.
To liaise with supply base and Purchase on key technical / commercial activities.
To initiate and deliver cost down activities on these commodities

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Highly self-motivated engineer who can manage releasing activities
Proven project and time management skills and able to work to a high standard with minimum supervision.
Competent IT skills including Excel, PowerPoint.
Excellent knowledge of WERs releasing activities
Program management experience of delivering to JLR gateway timing.
Full valid UK driving licence.
Educated to degree level.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience and working knowledge of Ford / JLR releasing process (WERS based) Working knowledge of rotating machines (starter motors, alternators) and experience of delivering components into an OEM against gateway timing leading to PSW parts at J1.
