The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The position is to support the Durability & Reliability PAT (attribute) leader who has the responsibility for the management and delivery of the Durability & Reliability attribute & test regimes.

This includes :-
* Test planning - management & report out
* Results and issue management including root cause analysis and resolution
* Requirement to oversee and conduct certain functional tests on an 'ad hoc' basis

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Good knowledge and practical experience of Automotive Technologies and vehicle testing (whole vehicle/vehicle system/rig level) including the principles of Verification and Validation.
* General understanding of Automotive Vehicle systems and a practical knowledge of motor vehicles.
* Ability to manage a cross functional meeting in support of the PAT (test planning, problem root cause analysis and resolution).
* Excellent communication & presentation skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Knowledge of test laboratory structural rig testing.
* Knowledge of vehicle proving ground testing.
* Understanding of CAE durability analysis.
* Knowledge of Road Load Data
* Data Analysis process
