The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
SCOPE OF THE JOB
• Responsible for developing and maintaining technical knowledge and capability.
• Responsible for defining and planning own work for approval by SE and FM.
• Responsible for design and development of systems and components which, when introduced into production, will satisfy the specified performance requirements, are safe, legal and otherwise fit for purpose (including satisfying product liability requirements).
• Accountable for planning, monitoring and expediting all test, validation and certification of systems and components to demonstrate successful achievement of (3) above.
• Accountable for timely design release for prototype build and production, and for delivery of relevant Product Engineering activities required to achieve timely vehicle launch to quality and cost targets.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Appropriate engineering degree, or acceptable Higher National Certificate/Diploma and relevant experience

EXPERIENCE
• Graduates with a relevant final year project and work experience, or
• 3 years technician experience in the automotive industry
• Tyre design, development, testing experience
