The Role:
Engine engineering budget analyst Ensure IE model runs are initiated and finalised in support of Program Gateways. Work with Component Teams to identify upfront ED&T costs for the Program. Work with EPMT Leader, DV Engineer and Systems Supervisor to identify upfront Prototype Material costs for the Program. Post budget deployment; develop Calendared Spend Plan for Engineering Headcount and ED&T for the Program lifetime. Obtain buy-in from functional managers. Post budget deployment; develop Calendared Spend Plan for the Program lifetime for prototype engines, prototype tooling and dress kits with support from the EPMT Leader, DV Engineer and Systems Supervisor. Track Actuals against Calendared Spend Plans for all Cost Categories. Flag deviations from plan to Program Supervisor, identify causal factors and facilitate development of remedial actions. Act as Single Point Of Contact to advise Engineers of correct process for raising CORA orders. Ensure that CORA orders are raised on time to support spend plan. Collate and submit weekly Non-Sal approvals (CORA) and weekly Material approvals (Transmittals and RPS orders). Act as Single Point Of Contact to advise Engineers of correct process for raising RPS orders. Ensure that Prototype Engine Transmittals and RPS orders are raised on time to support spend plan and program timing. Support SOMP reporting with status of engineering spend to budget. Support annual budget deployment process, to ensure appropriate chunking of budget as required by the program - GPRR reconciliation - GARP/AARP. Consolidate input and support meeting.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Advanced Excel, data analysis, financial tracking and forecasting. Finance, Program Budget Planning and Control knowledge.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
RPS, CORA knowledge. Automotive Engineering sector. Education ; Degree, CIMA
