The Company:
Our client is a global engineering consultancy that supports leading names in the oil & gas sector world-wide.

The Role:
They currently have a vacancy for a Maintenance & Integrity Consultant, this role has the potential to grow and lead at this level. The successful candidate will deliver maintenance and integrity strategy projects, control resources and budgets within the specified demands to ensure the delivery of Asset Management business goals and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Part of a team delivering projects in line with contract specified targets, resources and budgets.
• Development of maintenance and integrity strategies, procedures and associated activities based upon a combination of risk analysis and experience, providing clear, concise and accurate reports/recommendations to clients.
• Practical application of development supporting processes and tools such as, criticality assessment, FMEA, RCM, RBI, etc.
• Continuous improvement in all necessary systems, processes and procedures relevant to the professional management of Maintenance and Integrity projects.
• Part of a team - good people skills are mandatory

Qualifications/Skills

• Preferably degree level in engineering or equivalent with considerable experience and job responsibilities in relevant maintenance positions
• Computer Literate and all good capability of MS Office suite of programs including MS Project, MS Excel, MS Visio & MS Word
• Previous experience of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferably Maximo and or SAP.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas, Energy, Process or Utility industry is preferred but not essential, ideally gained in operations and maintenance.
• Experience in maintenance and operations work process development and optimisation; in undertaking maintenance audits and benchmarking for performance improvement of operational plants.
• Experience in spares holding analysis and optimisation a plus.
• An understanding of maintenance methodologies and working practices with respect to interaction with CMM systems.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish good client relationships at all levels.
• Willingness to travel and work at client sites for up to 3 weeks at a time
• Team player, with the ability to work individually when required.
• Above all we are looking for people with sound management skills and a strong vision as to how maintenance and integrity can truly add value; who can deliver maintenance strategy development projects, undertake maintenance auditing and performance improvement assignments and have the drive and ability to work with demanding international clients to achieve this vision.
