The Company:
Our client is one of the most successful global energy suppliers in the world.

The Role:
• Coordinate engineering surveillance for the detailed pipeline engineering of the Flow Assurance Project.
• Coordinate the engineering aspects of the pipeline design in support of the project objectives.
• Involved in the development and coordination of project execution plans with specific responsibilities for interface management, lessons learned and management of change elements.
• Coordinate and/or provide timely review of contractor’s designs, Design Changes, Concession Requests, and Non-Conformance Reports.
• Coordinate and/or provide support to the procurement and construction activities.
• Supports risk management activities such as Design and Construction Risk Assessments.
• Assist with management of staff responsible for all technical interface issues relative to the assigned area of responsibility including Client Venture support functions, and all other third parties. Coordinate major issues as necessary.
• Monitor contractor’s performance and provide advice as necessary to make certain company’s design goals, design philosophy and specifications are achieved.
• Ensures contractor’s design documents and other submittals submittals are reviewed and approved per company contract requirements.
• Provides technical support to the procurement activities, cost and schedule efforts. Implements the use of Project Management of Change procedure, for the assigned area.
• Ensures the Risk Management Plan activities relevant to the assigned area of responsibility are carried out appropriately.
• Assist PMT in meeting project expectations as required, especially project Element 2 (Risk Assessment), project Element 3 (Facility Design & Construction) and project Element 7 (Management of Change).

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in technical field of study (Engineering preferred)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of offshore pipeline engineering and construction activities
• Fifteen (15) years specific involvement in engineering and design in a project environment including ten (10) years experience with offshore pipelines.
• International experience, especially in Qatar or the Middle East, is preferred
