The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Our client is currently recruiting an Engineering Information Management Team
Lead to be based in Perth and reporting to the Manager Operations IT Portfolio. The primary function of this staff position is to develop strategies for managing engineering information during the project execution and operations phases of the project including Information handover from EPCs.

Key responsibilities Include:

• Plan the information delivery process and coordinate the development of procedures
• Work with the EPC's through the Data Management Contractor (DMC) to achieve
EPC alignment with Company information specifications; Engineering and Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Installation and Commissioning
• Direct the population of the Engineering Data Warehouse and related engineering tools (Instruments, Electrical P&ID, 3D Model)
• Implement robust Information Management processes to assure the data quality
• Manage the performance of the DMC and other parties involved in the information take-on
• Track and measure Contractor progress by agreed "Information" Stage Gates
• Provide reports of progress and quality for handover to Operations of Project IM
Deliverables, publishing and eventual archiving of management, schedule and cost reports
Advise operation and engineering staff on the requirements of good information management
• Coordinate the work of the information management team including coordinate the work of the Package Information Management Managers, the Document Control group and the DMC

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree in Engineering, IM&T or related field, or relevant experience
• 10 - 15+ years' experience in information management in the oil and gas industry is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to develop organisation-wide information management plans and models
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills
• Detailed knowledge in the specialist activity of engineering system integration and the
latest engineering information management systems applied to the process of successful information handover
• Experience dealing with engineering suppliers and vendors for data collection and
validation activities
• Strong demonstrated knowledge and understanding of engineering information standards
