The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Specific Conditions
• A specific Scope of Works to deliver on:
o Leading Hazop Reviews.
o Coordinate improvement of Engineering Specifications Database.
o Support develop the Engineering Management and BoD Guideline as part of Project Development and Execution (PD&E) systems for future state engineering management
o Update Engineering Specifications for Phase 2 Project

Primary Deliverable
To contribute to successful delivery of Australia projects, including Phase 1 and 2 and future projects by:

• Day-day management of the independent HAZOP reviews for both Onshore LNG as well as Offshore processing facilities, as the Owners representative designate; including providing the right pro-active steer when necessary, timely escalation of issues and presenting critical findings tabled by engineering contractor to the Steering committee.

• Leading the updating of Project Engineering Specifications database to reflect agreed deviations and lessons from Phase 1, ready for use on Phase 2 and during operations on Phase 1. Providing timely guidance to the Systems coordinator / any other support engineering contractor/s involved in data integrity support.

• Driving the preparation of Engineering specifications for the Phase 2 subsea tie-back Project, in time for commencement of FEED tendering Development of Engineering and BoD management Guideline documentation for the Company

Key Technical Deliverables
• Facilitate the implementation of the Engineering Specifications Database updates as a working system for the Perth organisations to be cost effective.
• Coordinate the Onshore & Offshore Hazop reviews and steer contractor towards quality outcomes within budget and timeline. Review Hazop Review action items and make recommendations for the Steering committee.
• Spearhead development of an Engineering Management & BoD Management guideline for future Projects, for management of Engineering.

• Support the effective implementation of the office safety management system including participation in emergency drills and procedures as required.

• Influence and obtain the support of senior management and leaders in acceptance of the HAZOP review findings, and engineering discipline technical authorities for the Project Engineering Standards and Specifications

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Key Experiences Requirements

• Working knowledge of:
• Subsurface.
• Drilling and Well Completions.
• Upstream and downstream facility engineering– subsea, offshore processing facilities, FPSO, pipelines, LNG.
• Asset operations

• Solution orientated, individual with highly competent interpersonal and influencing skills to tactfully and diplomatically manage ambiguity, conflict and uncertainty in a culturally diverse environment.
• Demonstrable track record of efficient & effective management of Contractors work for engineering studies , including in HAZOPs
• High awareness of safe working practices associated with design construction, pre commissioning, installation, hook-up and commissioning of oil & gas facilities.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written and the ability to influence a wide range of senior stakeholders to successfully support the objectives and outcomes of this role.
• Well developed leadership and decision making skills.
