Looking for the ideal candidate to join a leading Environmental solutions company, with a focus on integrated water, earth waste and resource solutions. Delivering safe and efficient results through all parses of the project management.

Applicants must have Canadian Environmental experience to be considered and have worked within a midstream division.

The Role:
Currently looking for and Engineering Manager to be responsible for the Environmental Midstream division to join our clients Engineering team. The Manager of Engineering is responsible to develop and lead a multi-discipline team that provides engineering support to the Midstream division; driving continuous improvement, developing standard processes/procedures, increasing technical capabilities, managing technical innovation and establishing standards for process design.

As the Engineering Manager your main duties will involve:
• You'll report into the Director of Engineering the Manager of Engineering will be instrumental in the successful execution of projects, working with operations, technical services and business project team resources to ensure quality solutions are delivered on-time and on budget according to defined scope, timeline and cost parameters. The projects involve the development, scoping, and execution of both Sustaining and Growth capital projects.
• This position works closely with Project Management to develop and deliver on capital projects, develop and execute plans for process improvements/applied technology development and establish systems supporting effective measurement processes and compliance to regulatory requirements (ABSA, AER, OGS, MOE). A key aspect of the role is establishing, maintaining and improving capabilities at our facilities.
• The Manager of Engineering leads and develops a diverse team of professionals ensuring objectives are set, priorities established on an ongoing basis and activities are aligned with the Midstream division strategic plans.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
As the Engineering Manager you will have experience:
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of Engineering and Technical professionals;
• Influence and drive a culture of continuous improvement and change management focused at operational process improvements that either increase efficiencies through reduced costs or increased throughput;
• Lead and manage process optimization and debottlenecking at facilities;
• Identify opportunities for operational support activities and develops standard best practices/procedures for deployment across the Midstream division;
• Provide technical support for operational risk management through the application of PHA processes and Management of Change;
• Support capital project execution by developing technical competencies ensuring process knowledge is continuously enhanced. Define, initiate, review, and support FEED activities for operational improvement, facilty integrity, and growth projects;
• Identify, align and champion process related activit

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience with a minimum 15 years in a supervisory/management role;
• Professional Engineer with a Facilities Engineering and Operations background in the energy sector would be preferred;
• Registered or eligible for registration with APEGA;
• Project Management experience would be an asset;
• Expert knowledge level and full competency with respect to controlling costs and meeting budget projections;
• Expert skill level with respect to developing innovative and cost effective problem solving strategies;
