The Company:
Our Client is a Leading Operator is the Oil and Gas Industry. This position is based in Singapore, with international mobility a requirement

The Role:
Responsibilities / Key Objectives:

• Deliver the engineering execution strategy to complete project to the required quality, schedule & cost and Company/partner expectations.
• Ensure Company contractual technical requirements as defined in FEED package and Company key documents are delivered during EPIC phase.
• Assure the engineering technical standards being followed at all stages of the project.
• Participate in evaluation of FPSO Contractors at end of Optimisation phase.
• Manage technical input for the Optimisation and EPIC design phases, especially during design and technical documentation reviews, interface meetings etc. Participate and lead workshops/reviews as required.
• Ensure all technical interface activities during design development with Company Sub-Sea team and other parts of the Development Project are properly planned and executed.
• Provide technical input to contract change proposals.
• Provide Company technical support as necessary during construction and review site changes.
• Provide technical advice, direction and support during commissioning.
• Communicate in a timely and effective manner with Company management team.
• Maintain contact with Group Head of Engineering to assure Company standards and approach.


Work Schedule & Location :
• Normal office working hours.
• International travel and mobility flexibility is a key requirement:
o To be based initially in Company’s Project Office in Singapore and then Contractor’s Engineering Home office for Optimisation and EPIC phases.
o Contractor’s location is TBA, likely to be Singapore or local Asia region, but may require part-time attendance in other overseas location
o Part-time requirement at offices London for attendance at meetings etc as required.
o During Construction part-time presence maybe required at FPSO Conversion yard (expected to be Singapore) and Module/Packager Yards (regional to Singapore) to support resolution of related Company technical issues.
o During field installation, and commissioning possible full-time offshore Ghana presence required to Commissioning.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Engineering Honors Degree or higher qualification
• Membership of professional engineering institution
• Not less than 15 years industry experience the bulk of which will have been upstream oil and gas development projects possibly with experience in field operations & commissioning.
• Experience in at least two FPSO related projects either as Client or Contractor; preferably both.
• Proven demonstrable experience of having both held and delivered as the Engineering Manager on a major, preferably FPSO related, oil development project.
