The Company:
Our Client's subsea expertise is based on more than 75 years of design, installation, and manfacturing of subsea equipment, control systems and related products/ services. Service to the Oil & Gas industry began in the 1920s.

The Role:
"To deliver standardised, configurable controls system solutions that meet the global market requirements for Subsea Production Systems (SPS).
To ensure the team delivers on the commitments for time, budget & quality.
Continuously Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the group & business.
Ensure that our people are competent, motivated, consistently deliver and strive to better our goals.
To support all Subsea regions as the global CoE.

Allocate & manage resources to meet the demands of the business.
Develop a product portfolio ensuring standard products are used for configuration and use on customer SPS projects.
Awareness of the products offered in other Regions.
Deliver on-time and within budget to the MDL requirements.
Provide support and direction for Tendering, Supply Chain & Manufacturing.
Build database of product technical capabilities.
Ensure commercial awareness is practised within the team.
Provide technical & commercial product benchmarking.
Deliver and maintain Engineering support
Provide technical input for FEED studies as required.
Ensure group is aware and compliant with latest procedures and statutory requirements.
Ensure all aspects of design, i.e engineering, manufacture, HSE, cost, form fit & function have been correctly identified and addressed.
Maintain and improve/simplify our processes.
Lead by example and demonstrate commitment to OS and PEM.
Share knowledge & best practice across the regions.
Engage with clients to promote the Company“Controls” solution, PUSH into the market place.
Carry out subordinate appraisals and ensure development plans in place.
Ensure succession plans are in place for all key staff.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree qualified.
Experienced manager within the Subsea sector or Oil & Gas industry.
Demonstrable, relevant Controls System & Product experience
A proven track record in the development, delivery and support of Controls equipment in Subsea Production Systems
Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Working knowledge in SAP.
Good communication skills
Ability to lead, motivate and develop our people.
Organiser, team building & alignment.
Decision maker and solution orientated.
