The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
Our client is currently looking to engage in an Engineering Manager to act as the technical authority for the LNG Plant on a CSG - LNG project in Queensland, Australia.
This opportunity presents the incumbent to work on a major Coal Seam Gas Project on a permanent basis. The role with initially be based in Brisbane with a transitional move to Gladstone as the project moves closer to commissioning, Pre-operational and operational phases.

The Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing and reporting on all LNG plant technical integrity and front line support of ongoing LNG operations.
Responsibilities include:
• Delivering the pre-operations phase ahead of first LNG production
• Accountable for the Engineering management across the LNG plant
• Experience managing and interfacing with multi-discipline teams
• Supporting the pre-commissioning team with supply of competent engineering resources
• Delivering operations management systems associated with engineering
• Ensuring relevant approvals and engineering authorities are in place prior to operations commencement
• Establish key Engineering support contracts for the facilities
• Progression of Brownfield and facilities modifications through design phases

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent years experience
• Significant LNG experience from Commissioning phases through to operations
• Extensive experience in hydrocarbon operations, ideally on Brownfield projects
• Broad technical knowledge of LNG plants, operations and facilities
• Significant management experience in an LNG production role

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Chartered engineer of relevant engineering institution
