The Company:
Our client is a leading global supplier of consultancy, engineering, and project management services in the the world's oil and gas, minerals and metals, clean energy, environmental and infrastructure markets.

The Role:
.1. Ensuring the EPC1 contract is managed and delivered to technical satisfaction.

2. Ensuring that key reports carry out their duties and responsibilities in line with their agreed contract Job Descriptions.

3. To provide the overall design and engineering services ensuring compliance with the Quality Management Programme, HSE Plan, Project Coordination Procedure and Project Management Plan for EPC1 Project .

4. Deliver engineering services in terms of EPC1 contract requirements, IPMT Engineering Processes and Quality through international and Company standards to meet the current project schedule and milestones of the assigned projects.

5. Functional management ensuring systems are in place to manage holidays, expenses and training.

6. Reputation management ensuring its recognised as a competent and professional organisation with the resources and systems to effectively manage the Project.

7. Ensure that all engineering positions are filled with staff capable of meeting the job requirements.

8. Develop and steward an Engineering Surveillance Plan, including monthly reporting.

9. Understand contract obligations and ensure that all supervised staff are aware of their obligations under the Health and
Safety at Work Act and equivalent UAE standards.

10. Manage the day to day interfacing between the Engineering disciplines of Process, Pipelines, Structural, Electrical and
Instrumentation together with the IPMT Fabrication and Construction Teams.

11. Identify areas of concern with respect to progress of EPC1 Project and recommending the corrective actions wherever required and executing when directed by the IPMT.

12. Lead and participate in Lessons Learned and Value Engineering workshops for optimizing scope and design.

13. Organizing and participating in Hazard and Operability (HAZOP), Safety Integrity Level (SIL), Project Health, Safety and Environment Review (PHSER), EIA and HSE exercises for the EPC1 Project.

14. Manage the control of all engineering systems and hardware.

15. Participate in key Project, and Project Management Plan reviews and meetings as required.

16. Develop and steward department procedures and work practices, as appropriate.

17. Provide notification of any potential commercial risk or opportunity to the Project Manager.

18. Develop close working relationships between all assigned engineering group members, the EPC1 Project team, and the Engineering Contractor to provide a consistent approach and effective resolution of issues.

19. Develop a good team spirit within assigned IPMT personnel and with the Contractor.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bsc Mechanical or Structual Engineering.
15 years experience and 10 years experience in the oil & gas industry.
Leadership and team building skills.
