The Company:
Our Client is a specialist provider of engineering, operations and maintenance services to the owners of energy assets around the world. Due to significant increases in projects they require the most experienced and professional Engineers available.

The Role:
Basic Purpose of Job:
• Responsible for technical integrity of engineering services, competency and recruitment of engineering discipline personnel, management, application and improvement of engineering processes.

Main Duties:
o To act as Contract Focal Point for onshore engineering
o To ensure the engineering team has the correct numbers, competencies and balance of experience to deliver the engineering workload
o Deploying teams of experienced and qualified engineers to meet the engineering demands of the Client
o Delivering quality, cost effective and timely engineering services in a demanding environment of change, short interval planning and conflicting priorities
o Process owner for all engineering processes
o Responsible for maintaining and developing Engineering BMS
o Ensure understanding and compliance with current legislation affecting Project activities, and advising others as appropriate
o Ensuring the Engineering team understand and follow Client DEP's, DEM1 and DEM2 requirements. Maintain rollout of changes to DEP's.
o Support the development of outsourced working arrangements, including rollout or Shell specific procedures and standards.
o Personnel development and focal point for all engineering graduates/ trainees
o Perform Sponsor or Holder roles for designated subcontracts
o Promote a culture of continuous improvement in the team
o Consistent use of best practice approach across CNNS
o Ensure any Technical Incidents (FTF, DNMPO) are captured and lessons learned identified.
o Provide input to Corporate management technical reports

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering Hons degree
Chartered Status preferred

Specific Training / Specialist Skills:
Excellent multi discipline technical awareness in Brownfield Engineering

10 years O&G industry experience
5 years in core engineering discipline

Personal Skills:
Good oral and written communication skills
Above average inter-personal skills
Good team player - understanding the needs of others
Good leadership and man management skills
