The Role:
Duties include:

•Assist onshore project manager in executing their responsibilities
•Manage onshore engineering PMTs.
•Owns production and processes and quality o fall onshore technical deliverables and their proper integration in to the EPC ITT and contract. Leads and enables FEED Contractor to successfully execute.
•Manage all engineering aspects of the project to ensure the technical objectives are met within the approved scope, budget and schedule, plus integration of technical into EPC.
•Monitor contractor’s performance and provide advice as necessary to make certain company’s design goals, design philosophy and specification are achieved and the contractor has successful execution.
•Regularly interacts with EMDC to consult on technical and staffing issues.
•Schedule and arrange technical support to shareholders.
•Leads, monitors, and approve contractor’s engineering effort.
•Ensure contractor’s design documents and other submittals are reviewed and approved per EPC contract requirements.
•Ensures technical aspects of Risk Management Plan are managed effectively.
•Reviews and approves design changes and specification revisions and exceptions per the project ,anagement of change program.
•Coordinate with business, execution, and construction managers all engineering design changes, including justification as to cost and schedule impact in accordance with PMOC referred above.
•Provide technical support to the procurement activities.
•Ensures / Leads Engineering in meeting expectations of the quality assurance programme.
•Prepare technical presentations for review with senior management.
•Manage engineering support for commissioning and start-up planning.
•Plans and coordinates training of participants in the graduate engineer training programme.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Engineering degree from an internationally recognised university
•Broad experience in all project phases, i.e. engineering, procurement and construction, would have at least ten (10) years specific involvement in the design, construction and startup of major process facilities.
•Worldwide experience with contractors and vendors, in particular those involved in the engineering of onshore facilities.
