The Role:
Leads and manages assigned phases of the technical development and implementation of energy infrastructure projects.
Coordinates the design as well as preparation of data, documentation, reports and schedules required to support construction, commissioning and turnover of major projects.
Manages consultants and contractors in the preparation and evaluation of equipment performance and site tests as well as critical evaluation of results.
Monitors and provides project status updates to project management and project development including relevant conditions and activities that may impact the development, completion or performance of project and facilities. Works closely with contractors to ensure effective performance and control of expenditures.
Provides appropriate direction, guidance and supervision of internal contributing organizations by performing as a liaison with Legal, Procurement, Business Unit development and other Head Office and E&C departments.
Participates and occasionally leads studies associated with specific technological developments and ad-hoc special technical studies as may be requested.
Performs supervisory duties and provides guidance to subordinate engineers as may be requested.large scale LNG import/export projects with additional value placed on LNG experience within the US regulatory environment
Added value placed on having experience as part of the owner’s team / owner’s representative on a project
Experience with FERC permitting would be great but is not necessary
The role involves managing the different disciplines of the projects ensuring that schedules and tasks are kept on schedule.
Include helping to coordinate/manage 3rd party consultants for different efforts of the project.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
15 – 20 years experience in O&G
5+ Years of minimum Experience in LNG projects
B.S in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical preferred)
Experience with FEED and EPC
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience with FERC permitting would be great but is not necessary
