The Role:
The purpose of this high level role is to ensure investment studies, modifications and project execution in all phases as well as systems technical integrity. The successful candidate will manage and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams.

As a Engineering Manager - Development & Technology department your main duties will involve:
•Overall responsibility for Technology and Development activity, including budgets, targets, manpower and health safety and environment
•Responsible for coordination of all project phases including initiation, planning, execution, controlling, close out and handover to operations
•Overall responsibility for technical integrity of systems during design, construction, commissioning and production operations

Main Tasks:
•To maintain knowledge, tools, systems and capabilities to ensure that investment studies, modifications and project execution can be carried out within agreed scope, schedule and budget
•To ensure that modification work and execution projects are subject to audits and management reviews
•To operate in compliance with Norwegian rules and regulations
•Stakeholder management
•To develop capabilities from company experience by utilising lessons learned from previous projects in continuous improvement of the operations

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
As a Engineering Manager - Development & Technology Department you will have;
• Master Degree or equivalent
• More than 15 years experience from the Oil and Gas Industry
• Strong track records from leadership positions
• Knowledge of a wide range of petroleum disciplines on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and technology disciplines in general
• Role is on shore based interested in speaking to anyone with a background covering: FPSO, Subsea, Upstream technology development.
