The Company:
The client provides engineering and project management support to clients across the energy sector, helping them to ensure that their operations remain safe, their assets are used efficiently and the maximum value is delivered from their capital investment projects.

The Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Manager to join our client's Energy Practice.

Our client continues to undergo an exciting period of growth, supported by the increasing demand for their services. The role will therefore be varied and challenging, with the successful candidate not only contributing to ensuring efficient project management and delivery to clients in the Nuclear sector but also supporting the development of our client's Energy Practice and the wider company.

Principal accountabilities and attributes include:

• Have significant experience in managing and delivering multi-faceted projects within an engineering environment
• Experience dealing with procurement e.g. supplier dispute resolution, contract knowledge and different pricing structures
• Good knowledge of business cases including quantitative methods e.g. NPV and IRR
• Experience using quantitative methods to measure project performance e.g. EVA and critical path
• Ability to gain an understanding of client issues and influence and manage change within their organisations
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills
• Demonstrate a flexible and proactive approach to work to achieve results

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree qualified, in an engineering or management discipline
• Project management experience in an engineering industry e.g. nuclear, power transmission & distribution, renewables, defence, aerospace, oil & gas
• Proven track record of delivery involving cross disciplinary teams to budget and deadlines with an understanding of other disciplines' constraints and requirements
• Stakeholder management skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Nuclear experience
