The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role

Represent the Electrical Engineering function in the Electrical Integration Module.

Scope of the Role

- Responsible for managing the electrical engineering deliverables at all stages of each project. Deliverables include: - BOM/SRD, PDS/Bid specs/RFQ, B release, BMG, PDM, FMEA, PVR, VDS, Software Status, Hardpoint Status.
- Responsible for reporting the status of engineering deliverables to the Electrical Module and the Engineering Functional project leader.
- Support Electrical Module reviews and associated cross-functional activities.
- Maintain an awareness of current Electrical Engineering Project Budget status.
- Coordinate the electrical engineering responses (across engineering functions where necessary) to PDB change requests.
- Coordinate responses (across engineering functions where necessary) and manage engineering issues arising from IDKM/EDKM, DMU, Electrical Package reviews, Prototype Build and Vehicle properties (such as VoWa and DCM).
- Coordinate responses (across engineering functions where necessary) and report status of engineering solutions to Quality issues arising from Audit, VDS, QMM, Quality Circle etc.
- Ensure the delivery of ZDCs and Version List through the E0 SET.
- Manage Engineering-sign-off on behalf of Electrical engineering.
- Coordinate the resolution of engineering issues arising in the module, using the S-Team structure.
- Monitor and coordinate the weight status of electrical parts and report against target weight reduction.
- Ensure that Production Permits and Concessions are raised as necessary to support Manufacturing.
- Coordinate, monitor, and report on the status of Electrical-owned AEKOs and ECRs generation and closure.
- Ensure that training material is made available to manufacturing within agreed timescales and that training is adequately delivered.

Experience & Qualifications

- Engineering or related Degree.
- Appropriate experience in engineering delivery role. Senior Engineer with influencing skills to drive issues with Functional Managers.
