The Company:
Our Client is a major Oil and gas operator and has operations though out the world. This role will be working within the Exploration and preproduction arm of my clients business.
The Role:
To manage the engineering Delivery and technical Integrity of the new facilities and associated modifications to existing facilities.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities;
- Provide leadership and project management expertise to the engineering team to deliver high standards in the following areas: Integrity, Quality, safety, HSE and operating management systems.
- Troubleshoot and ensure compliance of the Integrity management standard
- Ensure Engineering Design, Procurement, construction and commissioning meets the project requirement set out.
- Manage the delivery of the EPC contractor and to support construction activities.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Chartered engineer
- Degree qualified BSC (or equivalent) in relevant discipline i.e. engineering, mechanical etc.
- Proven track record of delivering engineering projects in a downstream oil and gas environment.
- Effective project management and leadership skills highly required.
- Experience of supervising work in an engineering contractors design office.
- Experience of working as a Field engineer on large construction sites.
