The Role:
• Manage Environmental Impact Assessment work for all UK based Major Capital Projects.
• Provides technical guidance and assistance to Discipline lead engineer and project/proposal team members.
• Ensure that project specifications are consistent with the Company environmental performance standards, design philosophies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage Project HES Compliance and Permitting plans and preparation and submission of permit applications, and work with PAGA on stakeholder engagement.
• Develop the environmental sections of project documentation e.g. Project Execution Plan, Design Philosophy etc.
• Take a proactive role in advising, mentoring and coaching other project team members, contractors & operation staff in reinforcing health, safety and environmental standards and requirements.
• Conducts inspections, audits and reviews as necessary to ensure compliance of environmental management plans.
• Participate/facilitate in project environmental audits
• Participate in the review of scope and technical content of tender documents received for proposals; participate in the FEED verification activities.
• Attend design reviews on specific request from project HSE lead engineer.
• Prepare and submit regulatory permits as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a Batchelors Degree
Experience in the Oil & Gas Sector within a Major Capital Project including Environmental Impact Assessment work.
