The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Our client is looking for an Environmental Advisor with experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
Dutie will include but not be limited to :
Operations role
• Environmental interface with Upstream, Hook Up and Commissioning and Operations teams on platform operational issues
• Assist in development, review and implementation of Operations Environmental Plan and oil spill plan
• Manage handover of Environmental issues to operations
• Development and roll out of:
o Chemical procedures and database entry/compliance
o Environmental Basis of design compliance
o Environmental monitoring requirements
o Environmental legislation and conditions of approval compliance
o Reporting - internal and external Installation Activities: Manage implementation of the Installation Environment plan in terms of reporting to Regulator and assistance in roll out to contractors
Focal point for:
• Co-ordination of Invasive marine species management and vessel environmental compliance
• Environmental training focal point (TBD)
• Co-ordination of environmental audits (TBD)
• Waste management (including during construction phase) General Env Responsibilities
• Assistance with env management of other contracts as required
• Assistance with vessel and contractor audits pre mob, mob and execution Interfacing and networking within the client
• Identify and support opportunities for the integration of IIF program / culture into Contractors work program and Upstream teams especially as it pertains to Environment (no environmental incidents and minimized environmental impact) for Execution and Operations Phase
• Participation in Operational Excellence (OE) activities. Demonstrate leadership and participation in OE initiatives and deliverables specific to environment. Presentation of OE issues, Environmental issues at OE meetings and inclusion of OE requirements in the clients Compliance Module

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Tertiary education, environmental professional
5+ years in environmental management, ideally 3+ within the Oil and Gas industry or large major capital projects. Knowledge of invasive marine species and auditing experience and advantage

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Good verbal/written communication skills, problem solving skills, ability to self manage, manage conflict and work collaboratively. Visible demonstration of commitment to development and maintenance of a comprehensive HSE culture. Ability to work under pressure unsupervised.
