Job Title: Environmental Advisor Construction
Job Location: Perth
Rate/Salary: Negotiable

The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in LNG and Mining Projects.

The Role:
Reports to POC Environmental Team Lead Construction

The Environmental Advisor will require the succesful candidate to:

• Coordinate and implement of all aspects contractor environmental management.
• Coordinate and perform contractor selection activities.
• Coordinate and review requisite environmental documentation to ensure compliance with environmental specifications and contract requirements – this may include Environmental Management Plans, Waste Management Plans, marine environmental management plans etc.
• Participate in contractor environmental risk assessments.
• Undertake contractor pre-mobilisation inspections as required.
• Coordinate and performs contractor compliance audits, including tracking and close out of corrective actions.
• Undertake backfilling of site Environmental Advisor roles on an as needs basis.
• Liaise regularly with Site Environmental team on contractor management issues / key site environmental issues.
• Coordinate and performs Contractor demobilisation reviews.
• Assist the POC construction support team as required by Environment Team Lead.

This is a Perth based role with opportunity to travel to site.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Environmental experience in the resource and construction industry
• Extensive, practical construction work experience
• Proven auditing, communication, negotiation and problem solving skills
• Extensive contractor and client liaison skills
