They are one of the world’s leading producers of liquefied natural gas, helping meet the demands for cleaner energy from Japan, China, Korea and other countries in the Asia Pacific region.

The Role:
An opportunity is available for a Environmental Advisor – Geotechnical Operations position to manage environmental activities across the Exploration Division.

Duties & Responsibilites:

•Ensure a consistent and effective application of environmental standards, procedures and guidelines across Exploration
•Provide technical support for projects and campaigns
•Ensure environmental compliance across Geotechnical Operations
•Assist in invasive marine species management across Geotechnical Operations
•Provide environmental input to commercial contracting activities, including invitations to tender, development of scopes of work, tender evaluations and contractor management
•Develop environmental approval strategies and secure environmental approvals for Geotechnical Operations activities
•Establish, maintain and track environmental targets for Exploration;
•Establish and maintain Environmental Improvement Plans and Environmental Activity Plans for Exploration
•Liaise with government regulatory bodies.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Geotechnical Operations (GTO) is a technical function with the Exploration Division.
•The key purpose of GTO is to manage the acquisition of geospatial data to generate optimal value to Client.
•The key goal of GTO is to achieve exceptional operational outcomes while protecting the health and safety of its employees, service providers and the environment.
