The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Contribute as part of the Environmental Approvals Team to the delivery of all required environmental approvals for the Project.

Coordination of Secondary Approvals: Assist the EIA Coordinator in preparing documentation for review, incorporating comments and presenting environmental deliverables for regulatory review and approval.

Assessment of proposed Project changes: Assist the EIA Coordinator in the review of proposed Project changes against the environmental permits to determine the correct course of action in regard to environmental approval variations.

Preparation and coordination of approval variations: Assist the EIA Coordinator in the preparation of documentation to support applications for variations to the Project environmental approvals. Coordinate liaison with regulatory agencies to ensure that approval variations are obtained efficiently.

Participation in stakeholder engagements: Provide advice and input into the Stakeholder/Government Agency engagement strategy, prepare presentations and information and participate as required in engagement activities.

Contribution towards environmental reporting and scheduling: Contribute to the successful implementation of the activities scheduled to meet Project secondary approval requirements.

Prepare regular reports and schedule updates as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum qualification: Undergraduate degree in environmental science or similar
Minimum of 3 years experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high priority tasks concurrently. Ability to work in high pressure environment while meeting tight strategic milestones.
Experience with support of large scale permit applications for major capital projects.
Strong organisational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Practical working knowledge of relevant Western Australian and Commonwealth environmental legislation.
Excellent report writing skills; ability to verbally communicate within the Project and externally with government agencies.
