The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in LNG and Mining Projects.

The Role:
• Provide timely and accurate environmental management expertise to the development and execution of all marine works related activities associated with the Construction phase Environmental Management System
• Provide environmental training and advice to the Project and contractors involved in all construction phase marine works.
• Be responsible for the preparation and assessment of relevant technical documents required for procurement and sub-contractor packages and on-going contractor management.
• Provide input to other functional departments (commercial, procurement, construction, quality, safety) with respect to marine works environmental management.
• Participate in risk based workshops (HAZID/design etc).
• Participate in the Environmental auditing program as required
• Perform marine environmental monitoring as required
• Undertake the development of plans, procedures, risk registers, targets and objectives and monitoring programs associated with all marine works
• Advise/mentor site based supervision to ensure environmental compliance
• Conduct inspections/audits on contractors/work packages.
• Perform other non-marine related works as required by POC Environment Manager

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum qualification: Degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Environmental Management Systems and at least 4 years of post-graduate environmental management experience
• Demonstrable experience with the implementation of Environmental Management Plans (experience with Marine EMPs will be considered highly desirable).
• A knowledge and demonstrable experience in Western Australian/Commonwealth environmental legislation (knowledge of Marine related legislation will be considered highly desirable).
• A knowledge of relevant Australian & International Codes and Standards (knowledge of Marine related codes and standards will be considered highly desirable).
• Demonstrated experience in liaising with other disciplines, client representatives, and contractors in an office and site situations.
