The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Environmental Compliance
• Develop and implement the environmental compliance management processes, procedures, and schedules needed to monitor environmental performance and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare regulatory compliance and performance reports for internal and third-party stakeholders and regulators.
• Collate environmental data, ensure QA/QC, monitor records and track and report environmental performance leading and lagging indicators.
• Track and report regulatory compliance activities and corrective action close-out validation.
• Participate in environmental compliance audits and inspections when required
• Work collaboratively with the Project’s delivery and central teams, Project EPCMs, the Business Unit function teams and external stakeholders to foster a high level of environmental performance and compliance
• Leverage synergies with existing HES and Compliance programs.
• Incorporate lessons learned, to capture effective practices from existing environmental compliance programs.
• Execute all elements of the environmental compliance and reporting program in a professional, collaborative and safe manner.

Reporting
• Facilitate the identification, collation, management and retrieval of evidence and delivery teams to meet, in a timely manner, the Projects internal and external environmental reporting requirements.
• Review and update compliance assessment plans in response to project design or ministerial condition changes.
• Provide or contribute to compliance status reports as required, including regular status reports.
• Assist in the collation, QA/QC and reporting of quarterly environmental data to internal and external parties, including data (air, water and waste) and GHG reporting.
• Report on Environmental Compliance leading and lagging indicators, as required.
• As required, solicit and review the data and information needed as part of the Annual Compliance Assessment Report. Non-Compliance Management
• Report and record Instances of Potential Non-Compliance (IPNCs) and confirmed Non Compliances for scopes of work.
• Track through to satisfactory, documented closure.
• Assist with IPNC investigations as required,
• Contribute to external reporting (State and commonwealth) of IPNCs or INCs within prescribed timeframes.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Environmental Science or similar with demonstrated HES experience
Minimum of 5 years experience in similar role.
Demonstrated ability to manage high priority tasks concurrently.
Ability to work in high pressure environment while meeting tight milestones.
Strong organisational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Practical working knowledge of relevant Western Australian and Commonwealth environmental legislation.
