The Company:
Our clients is a global group of energy and petrochemical companies with an aim to meet the energy needs of society, in ways that are economically, socially and environmentally viable, now and in the future.

The Role:
Our client is looking for an Environmental Advisor to work across a number of projects in Australia.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Identify environmental risks; assist in developing environmental management plans, scoping impact assessment work and baseline studies/research projects, for existing and new projects/assets
• Support obtaining necessary environmental permits for projects, track commitments
• Participate in audits/reviews, as needed
• Maintains an active awareness of industry environmental risks, issues and trends and their potential implications for Upstream business in Australia
• Support the development and implementation of the environmental management system for project, including all internal and external environmental data reporting
• Support greenhouse gas management for the business

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field and/or 5-10 years of experience in applying the discipline skill to oil and gas projects
• Effective oral and written communicator with all levels in the organization. Networking with an ability to foster collaboration

• Independent, objective and decisive. Ability to deal with multiple, often conflicting goals and priorities

• Experience in developing Environmental Management Systems for operating assets desired
