The Role:
Job Description

Assignment Scope: Regulatory - General Overview:

Responsible for providing regulatory planning, permitting and compliance support. Participates in team project execution to ensure that all tasks related to environmental review/permitting at the local, state and federal levels are integrated into current project planning efforts, implemented, secured and in compliance. Ensures compliance with internal environmental and regulatory procedures (compliance assurance, operations excellence). Develop environmental contracting, regulatory, and permitting strategies. Maintain and enhance federal, state, and local agency relationships with specific emphasis on environmental review, permitting processes, environmental stewardship, surface management, as well as land access. Coordinate the collection of and analyzing regulatory metrics. Typically requires at least five years of experience. Under general direction and minimal guidance, uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes. Typically resolves complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist. Works independently acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Training (Primary Job Function)- General Overview:

Schedule and coordinate all training which may include webinars, field training, and other training events as they arise. Assigns instructors to conduct training based on organizational needs. Maintain, publish, and disseminate training calendars. Assist in the preparation for classes including but not limited to copying training materials, arranging for equipment, scheduling rooms and facilities, and coordinating travel. Complete training participant certificates and distribute. Assist with all administrative duties. Maintain program evaluation database. Requires at least five years of experience. Under general direction and minimal guidance, uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes. Typically resolves complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist. Works independently acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Determines/maintains all Cook Inlet training requirements
Coordinate with Corporate and Alaska Training Advisors

Cook Inlet Compliance Advisor:

Determines Regulatory Requirements for Cook Inlet Facilities
Revises Policies and Procedures in line with regulatory updates
Prepares responses for potential agency NOV
Maintains relationships with federal regulatory personnel
Maintains and updates DOT and USCG operating and maintenance manuals
Calculates and prepares DOT Annual Reports
NOTE: The regulations and codes for the agencies regulating Cook Inlet include: DOT, EPA, ADEC, U.S. Coast Guard, OSHA, ConocoPhillips Corporate, CPAI

Additional Duties:

Administrator of Learning Express
Administrator of TRACCESS Training Program
Maintains TRACCESS Learning System
Works with TRACCESS software group on updates and improvements
Maintains and updates Emergency Action Plans for Cook Inlet
Arranges various compliance-based tasks
Assists the safety and environmental representatives in the delivery of various text materials and training
Provides Traccess accounting services for scheduled items outside of the training realm (Respiratory Fit Tet, Audiogram, First Aid, Fire Training).
