The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Environmental Advisor to join the Health, Environment and Safety team which is based in the CBD. In this role your main responsibilities will include:

• Implement and maintain the U/S Environmental Team Compliance and Assurance Program • Assist with the timely and accurate delivery of environmental compliance reporting with approval conditions, EPs and commitments. Reporting includes: Preparation of scheduled regulatory compliance reports, including annual state and Commonwealth compliance assessment reports and scheduled performance reporting against EPs and Incident reporting.
• Collate and report our clients operational excellence and NGERS environmental data per project schedules
• Prepare and maintain environmental compliance registers within Essential Suite
• Assist in preparing and executing the Phase 4 U/S environmental compliance assurance plan
• Audit Upstream HES requirements as applicable and in coordination with the HES Audit Coordinator
• Develop and maintain tools and processes for management of compliance evidence derived from assurance activities, including audits, inspections, reviews etc
• Interfaces within Upstream H&S disciplines, as appropriate
• Interface and networking with ABU, as appropriate
• Participate in the Behaviour Based Safety Programme
• Participate in IIF activities
• Support the Stop Work Authority (SWA) process
• Interface with Senior Contract Advisor

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
In order to be considered for this position you will have the following:

• A Bachelor of Environmental Science/Engineering or related Degree
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within the Oil and Gas Industry

You will be a self-motivated individual with excellent organisational and communication skills along with a high attention to detail.

This position is a 12 month contract working 9 hour days.
