The Company:
Our client, a major owner/operating company, requires expertise for their ongoing oil sands mega-projects in Alberta.

This position is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

The Role:
The Environmental Assistant will have the responsibility:

Support NPRI, emission and green house gas calculations and accounting for annual reports including assist with P&ID equipment counts (BBU).
Compile the historic groundwater data and plot on graphs
Update and integrate the exotoxic spreadsheet and the new substances to site spreadsheet
Prepare the turnaround package for Environmental Activities
Support the annual LDAR inventory work
Compile documentation on waste streams per AB Generation no.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The Environmental Assistant will have previous experience:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel - graphing and spreadsheet manipulation
University/college degree or diploma in a related field
An interest in environmental issues/subject matter would be a benefit
An understanding of green house gases requirements to measure and report is preferred
Previous experience in GHG reporting
Previous experience in reading P&IDs or experience on a refinery would be an asset
